My name is Ana, I am 6 years old from a struggling community in Brazil, and I write to you with a heavy heart and deep sadness.
Many of you are aware of the heartbreaking challenges tearing apart underserved communities in Brazil. It pains me deeply to share that my family—my parents, my aunt, my brother, three sisters, and I—along with many others, are living in poverty, facing hunger, and lacking basic necessities. We are desperately searching for food, clean water, and hope.
We are hungry, and local markets have little food—no meat, vegetables, or fruits. We survive on basic staples that can lead to malnutrition, and when we walk the streets, we see open sewage and trash that cause diseases. The lack of reliable electricity and clean water makes cooking and daily life a struggle, with many health risks.
Malnutrition and poor sanitation cause serious illnesses, and we endure harsh living conditions that threaten our survival. I have reached a breaking point trying to help my family, and I appeal to you, my dear friends, to offer your compassion and support in any way you can. Your generosity can make a difference in the dire circumstances we face daily. The Coração Solidário Association, which serves our community, needs your help to provide essential aid.
Family Details and Financial Requirements:
Our family consists of 8 people:
- 3 adults (my parents and aunt)
- 5 children (my brother, 3 sisters, and myself)
The total amount required to support our community is calculated as follows:
- *Food and water for 100 families: $20,000*
- *Medical care for 200 people: $15,000*
- *Sanitation improvements: $10,000*
- *Educational supplies: $5,000*
The Coração Solidário Association aims to raise a total of *$50,000* to cover these immediate and urgent needs.
